Bottle & Can Drive
On a monthly basis, the Medway Lions Club collects redeemable bottles and cans from the community, either curbside or from donations dropped off at the Lions Bottles and Cans shed in front of West Medway Liquors on Main Street, and then sorts them at Medway Oil on Broad Street.

The proceeds from these drives are used exclusively for community efforts in Medway. Curbside pickup for Medway residents starts at 9 am on the morning of the drive. Redeemable donations may be dropped off on the morning of the drive before 11 am at Medway Oil on Broad Street. Redeemable donations may be made at any time at the Lions Bottles and Cans shed at any time. Examples of community efforts paid for with Bottles & Cans Drive proceeds: Fourteen fruit trees planted at Medway Community Farms, Songs for Food benefit concert for Medway Food Pantry and Village Church Food Pantry; Eyeglasses & Eye Examinations for Medway residents in need; High School Peer Counseling Program, Scholarships for Medway High School Seniors, Medway Holiday Fund, Defibrillators for Police Department and Burke School, Emergency Equipment for the Fire Department and much more...
